READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO BE PART OF JUMP START 2010
As you will know, Jump Start is again planned for 2010. The event date is set for Saturday 6th March 2010 (weather day is the 7th March 2010). Only a few short weeks to go ! Behind the scenes coordination is well advanced for this years event.
The RNZAF Hercules is “tasked” for Jump Start 2010.*

DO YOU WANT TO JUMP THE C130 HERCULES ?
If you are a licenced NZPIA Sport skydiver, you can jump the C130 Hercules ! The deal is that if you sponsor one of the teenagers from CanTeen or Project K to do a tandem skydive ($300), you are in with a chance to jump too, or ride as an observer if you are a non skydiver. You won’t be able to jump out of the Herc unless you are part of the tandem/camera team donating your services to the event, OR unless you have sponsored a teenager. Slots on the Herc will be prioritized in order of highest funds raised.

FUNDRAISING TO SECURE YOUR SLOT ON THE HERC AT JUMP START 2010
You don’t have to donate all the money from your own pocket. We are again providing tools for you to set up your own fundraising webpage to assist you with raising the donations. Once you have set up a fundraise web page, email your friends, family, employers and colleagues the link to your fundraising page once its set up – in fact, there is a simple easy email function also provided when you’ve set up your fundraising webpage. WEATHER CALL
The evening prior to the Jump Start event (Friday 5th March-2010 at 1930 hrs, that’s 7.30pm) we will have a telephone hot line set up by the RNZAF which will allow you to phone in for a recorded message. THIS WILL BE ADVISED SHORTLY. The Jump Start website will also be posting a notice regarding the weather call the evening prior, as well as an email being sent to all registered for our e-newsletter. JUMP START DATES & VENUE 2010
Jump Start 2010 will take place at the RNZAF Airbase, Whenuapai, Auckland, on the 6th March 2010 (weather day 7th March 2010)
The Jump Start landing area will operate in front of the Parachute Training & Support Unit HQ. All personnel will assemble in the hanger area adjacent to the PTSU facility. Entry to base will be made through the main gate. If you are participating in the Jump Start event your names will be on a master listing at the main gate for access. A Jump Start STAFF member will also man the gate to issue your security access stamp. These must be visible at all times. A team of RNZAF & JUMPSTART staff will assist with your orientation to the Jump Start event area.
