Tim
Quick contact to reinforce my comments to you for a great job, well done by all of you.
I had a great day as I am sure we all did.
From taking to some of the other sponsoring Skydivers I am especially appreciative of Lars manifesting me on my 3 slots.
I spent time with the 3 kids from ChCh and they were so pumped by the experience. I will be getting Canteen and the kids to do a presentation to my Rotary Club to assist fundraising again for next year.
Once again a mighty job from Lars and yourself and Jump Start team.
cheers

Hey again Tim,
Was really great to meet you today and have a chat about JumpStart! It’s really clear that you are so passionate about it and you transmit that to everyone around you – it was a truly great event!
Just wanted to say a really big thank you once again for allowing me to come on base today and get a feel for it all – I absolutely loved meeting everyone and talking to people. There was such a diverse mix of people there, and everyone was so approachable and friendly. The whole day had a unique atmosphere about it, really comfortable, friendly and fun, and I think a lot of the credit for that has to go to you and your team.
Definitely won’t forget this for a long time, it was a day to remember for sure and I know all the CanTeen young people had an absolute ball! They were so excited after they’d jumped!
Really enjoyed the whole day, please pass on my thanks to your team as well, everyone was awesome!
If you ever need anything and think I could give you a hand please don’t hesitate to ask, I’d love to help in any way possible.
Hope to see you again next year
kind regards,
Shannon

TIM! where to start? this was my first jumpstart and i was really impressed with how smoothly everything ran teh whole day. The jump was an amzing experisence- but to be honest i got such a buzz from just meeting and talking to the kids as well as the jump. They are an inspiration and i was blown away by their upbeat and positive outlook and attitude!
The whole day was so cool and i just wanted to say thank you so much for letting me be a part of it! (thanks also to Bruce and Andy as well as the RNZAF)

Tim, Lars & the team,
A HUGE well done to all of you. My first Jumpstart and seeing those kids’ expressions of glee (after the initial nervousness) was great.
Thanks for letting Belinda & I be part of it.

I would just like to voice our appreciation that Sarah was able to participate in Jumpstart 2010 on Saturday. The organisation of this event was outstanding. From the MC who kept us all informed right thru to the Volunteers looking after the food – nothing was a problem and it was great that the families of the kids were also involved as much as could be. To see all the nervous kids board the Hercules and then to see these massive smiles on their return is something we will not forget. A big thankyou to Aaron (Sarah’s Tandem Master) for putting her at ease and looking after her.
Can you please pass on our appreciation to the organisers of Jumpstart.

This is really a day in the calendar when life is about being fully in the moment. Thank you all so much for the opportunity to be involved in such a wonderful event. Not only do we get to watch young people embrace their lives fully, I have made some wonderful friends. To all the JumpStart, RNZAF, Jumpmasters, Camera crew and Canteen members; you guys rock! It really is a privillage to rub shoulders with people who are so willing to give of their time to shape the lives of our young people, thanks. I hope we have inspired lives that will be jumping out of planes now for years to come!

To the Jumpstart team,
A tremendous South Island cheers to all the volunteers who helped to put this event on the calendar. What an awesome event you put together. Our sincere thanks for all the hours given to this cause by a huge range of individuals.
Our son has come home buzzing..A real “pick up”for him after a tumultuous few years in the Cancer world. That experience is like living in a parallel world watching the rest of the world go on without you BUT what a boost to jump out into the REAL world on Saturday alive and screaming!Just like being reborn!Live Life Laugh!
Grateful thanks

Tim and the JUMP START crew,
JUMP START 2010 – another fabulous occasion! This event just seems to get better and better!! Thank you to you and your organising team for pulling off another fantastic event. As I said on the day, I am clear that JUMP START presents a logistical challenge, which involves the generous support of many parties, congratulations on pulling it all together and creating a superb day.
The positive and fun atmosphere of JUMP START appeared to be enjoyed by all that attended. It is great to see that the tandem masters, camera people JUMP START ground crew and Air Force enjoy the experience along with our members!! J Lots of (nervous??!!) laughs were heard from our members and a HUGE sense of achievement was gained by them all over the weekend.
I am still getting texts and emails from members claiming this has been one of the best experiences of their lives – thank you so much for creating that for them – ‘the feeling of being alive’.
A heart felt thanks from all of us at CanTeen for JUMP START 2010 and to all those that so generously gave up their time – we have 25 very happy members that will carry the Herc and skydive memory with them always.
Many Thanks
Jarnia.

To Tim and Jump Start
Thank you so much for giving me the oppotunity to jump out of a plane! I have never experienced such terror and pure joy in the space of a couple of seconds! A big thank you has to go to my jump master Mark and my camera man Mac! they were awesome and gave me an awesome time, even now a few days later im still buzzing about the experience, i was pretty scared looking being on the first plane up and being in the 3rd stick, but the freefall experience.. wow i cant describe it, but i want more!
Thanks so much to the volunteers and the New Zealand Air Force, you guys are legends!

Hi Tim
Sorry this note has taken me so long to write.
I just wanted to say a very special thanks for including me in the whole Jumpstart experience, especially enabling me to take a trip up in the Hercules. It was your organisation that allowed me to be a part of it.
It was a fantastic day all round, those kids were just amazing and inspiring – but going up in the Hercules was a once in a lifetime experience for me, absolutely exhilarating. I can understand why people like jumping out of planes, but having hung out the back of the Hercules on a harness I have a greater understanding of the “need” to jump.
The Air Force were great, too – and I’ve sent a note to a couple of them to say thank you. If they hadn’t been so inclusive and helpful, I would never have seen so much or had such a great flight.
I’d like to be more involved next year and so please include me when you’re looking for volunteers and people to help with the organisation.
What a great job, Tim – well done.
Regards
Belinda
