Jump Start ’08 is all set for February 16th and it’s fast approaching.  We trust all your fundraising efforts are in full swing and like us you’re counting down the days.  It’s great to see that a number of you have taken advantage of our new initiative this year to use Fundraiseonline to assist you in the fundraising process.  It’s designed to make reaching your fundraising goal easier. Please don’t forget to email all your contacts and appeal to them to assist you in supporting Jump Start ‘08 by donating via your website, remember if you don’t invite them to donate they can’t help you.  For those of you who aren’t sure how to ask for donations via email, here’s a link to a sample letter you can send to prospective sponsors:

Jump Start is a charitable event and as such we have a very tight budget, so if you have chosen not to use Fundraiseonline and are using more traditional methods of fundraising, could you please email us and let us know that you are supporting the event and give us an idea of how much you hope to raise.  Please reply to this email to tell us about your involvement as this will also help us in planning a manifest if we know how many of you want to be on the ramp and to ensure we can deliver the best Jump Start experience to the kids.
