   WE DID IT !!

   The Weather was unbelieveable, allowing us to fully complete Jump Start 2008.

   Thank you everyone….

   We will be compiling photographs and video over the next few weeks. Those wishing to purchase additional “enlargements”, “canvas prints” etc, please email us your contact details at photos2008@jumpstart.org.nz and Rob Pine (Official Jump Start Photographer) will contact you direct.

   I did not believe that it could improve after the effort last year…..isnt it great to be proved wrong!

   a magnificent event,wonderfully organised(as well as you can organise excited skydivers!)and I truly hope that all the jumpers had a great time,or at lest as much fun as I did! thanks to all of the Organisers and a special thanks to the Airforce once again, cheers to you all

   Wow! What an awesome day! To everyone who contributed to this amazing event… thankyou. You should all feel proud!

   After over 30 years of jumping outta planes, I don’t believe I will have any better memories of what transpired last Saturday.

   And if there are any photos taken that I have not recieved, please let me know and get them to me asap. Should be able to put together one hell of a dvd.

   To all those who participated at whatever level, well done. The NZ skydiving community has something to be very proud of and I would like to pay a special thanks to Tim and Ian (Lev) Leatherland. Tim for bringing together the civilian aspect and Lev for his role as the RNZAF’s primary liaison.

   Here’s hoping for a repeat performance next year, if not a bigger one!!!

   Hey this was so awesome, once again its been the day of my year, I really don’t know how I’ll top it. Huge thanks to Project K, CanTeen, RNZAF, Jump Start and all the wonderful people involved. The vibe was primo, the aircraft was beautiful, and once again the weather turned out fantastically.

    My son was part of the Air Training Corps who attended this day to help out others less fortunate than himself. After reading the article in the paper and the comments on here, it brought a tear to my eye. I am very proud of all of you, and to my son and the others from 6th Squadron ATC, be proud of yourselves, be aware of how fortunate you are and I hope you continue to leave worthwhile impressions on others around you.

    Hey, a big thanks to everyone that made this day possible, I was one of the CanTeeners lucky enough to get to jump, and I know everyone enjoyed it as much as I did, words cant say how thankful we are!
