My son was part of the Air Training Corps who attended this day to help out others less fortunate than himself. After reading the article in the paper and the comments on here, it brought a tear to my eye. I am very proud of all of you, and to my son and the others from 6th Squadron ATC, be proud of yourselves, be aware of how fortunate you are and I hope you continue to leave worthwhile impressions on others around you.

To all those who participated at whatever level, well done. The NZ skydiving community has something to be very proud of and I would like to pay a special thanks to Tim and Ian (Lev) Leatherland. Tim for bringing together the civilian aspect and Lev for his role as the RNZAF's primary liaison.

Here's hoping for a repeat performance next year, if not a bigger one!!!
